about David Heron MBE
My name is David Heron MBE, I am the founder of ‘The Listener ‘. An idea that was conceptualised in my youth and over time, that very idea has finally become a reality.

Growing up in Jamaica, I was influenced by my father’s (pictured below) ideology to accept people for who they are, and not for who we want them to be.
This led me to further understand this view as a serving member of the British Army for over twenty–one years; where my role led me to assist a wide range of people with multiple issues – from aiding individuals with learning challenges, to working with and supporting families to better enable them to reach their objectives.
The philosophical principle of Kiana Tom is one that reminds us that “true wisdom listens more, talks less and can get along with all types of people.”

Throughout my years of service, the realisation became more apparent that there is a great need for talking therapy.
You are invited to come and view what ‘The Listener ‘has to offer. Thank you.
